Melbourne-inspired mural artwork for Holmesglen TAFE in Chadstone, inside the lecture theatre. This mural symbolises the student journey in Melbourne as many students are from overseas or interstate. Every student experiences a level of growth, hence the face looking out to the future.

Working with the marketing team, we fine-tuned this concept to create a design that layered Melbourne landmarks, icons, as well as text and and abstract elements. A springtime positive feeling was used with the blue and green colour scheme. The fish added a nice surreal effect, as well as being a play on the expression “a school of fish.“ "Wominjenka" is an indigenous Australian word that means “Welcome,” and 3148 is the area code.
