Vietnamese Rose

Interior Mural

This interior wall mural was made for Cafe 747 in Tullamarine, Melbourne. With the cafe specialising in Vietnamese cuisine, this mural incorporated traditional Vietnamese motifs with a modern contemporary street art twist, from the lotus flowers to bamboo, while using the rose theme to visually tie it all together. Underlying this relationship with nature is an abstract design symbolising the forces of consciousness and awareness.

Process

Digital sketches were drawn up in Photoshop while discussing the concept development with the client. These sketches also included mockups so we could get a better idea how it will look in the physical space.
